The Knights opened the outdoor season with a team victory at the inaugural Mayor's Cup Invitational at Vincennes University. The invitational consisted of eight southern Indiana teams that we normally don't compete against. Due to lighting issues, the meet was called early before all events could be completed; the 200 meter dash, boys high jump, and 4x400 were not contested.
